What is a Text to 3D AI generator?
It turns a written description into an estimated three-dimensional model. Describe an object, character or prop and AI creates a 3D starting asset based on those words.
How do I create a 3D model from text?
Enter a description, confirm you have the necessary content rights and submit. When the task finishes, preview the model and download its GLB file.
Do I need to upload an image?
No. This workflow starts with a written description. If you already have a picture, use the separate Image to 3D tool.
What should I write in my Text to 3D prompt?
Describe one recognizable object and include useful shape, proportions, colors, materials and style. For example, a small wooden treasure chest with a curved lid and brass corners.
How detailed should my description be?
The workspace accepts 6–1,024 characters. A few clear sentences are a useful starting point. Longer prompts do not guarantee greater accuracy.
Can I generate characters from text?
Yes. Describe stylized characters, robots, creatures or other concepts. The result is not automatically rigged or guaranteed to be animation-ready.
Can I create 3D game props?
Yes. Create starting assets such as chests, barrels, tools, furniture and decorative objects. Review polygon count, topology, materials and engine requirements before use.
Can I use Text to 3D without 3D modeling experience?
Yes. Start with a written description instead of manual mesh modeling. Advanced editing may still require 3D software or additional tools.
What format will my generated model use?
The workspace provides a GLB download. GLB is a widely used 3D format that can contain geometry and available material data in one file.
Can I open the generated model in Blender?
Blender supports GLB files. Import the result and continue editing its geometry, materials, scale or other features as needed.
Can I export directly to OBJ, STL or FBX?
This workspace downloads GLB. For other formats, use a separate supported conversion workflow. Conversions may not preserve every model property.
How accurate are the models created from text?
AI interprets your description rather than following an engineering specification. Proportions, surfaces and details may differ, so inspect the result before final use.
Can I control the shape and materials through my prompt?
You can describe preferred shapes, colors, materials and visual styles. The AI may not reproduce each detail exactly, and specific material or topology properties are not guaranteed.
Does Text to 3D create animation or a character skeleton?
No. It creates a 3D model. For a suitable humanoid character, the separate Auto Rigging tool can add a skeleton and starter animation.
Are generated models ready for 3D printing?
Not automatically. Check for holes, thin walls and other geometry issues, as well as scale, wall thickness and slicer compatibility, before printing.
How much does Text to 3D cost?
Each generation costs 100 credits. The workspace checks your available balance before submission.
Is there a free Text to 3D trial?
No. AI generation requires paid credits. You can explore licensed public 3D viewer demos to understand model navigation.
How long does it take to generate a 3D model?
Processing time depends on the AI service and workload. Jobs run through a queue, so completion time can vary.
What happens if my generation fails?
Provider failures and timeouts use the existing credit recovery process. Contact support with job details if your task or balance appears incorrect.
Can I use my generated model commercially?
Commercial use depends on the rights associated with your prompt and generated content, applicable laws and the service terms. Verify the rights needed for your project.
Can I change the generated model after downloading it?
Yes. Import the GLB into compatible software and refine its geometry, materials or other properties. Separate tools may support retexturing or retopology.
Can I generate several objects in one prompt?
This workflow is best suited to one model per generation. Submit separate descriptions for separate assets; a multi-object prompt does not guarantee individual downloads.
